What’s nicer than a beautiful album to story book your amazing wedding day! I offer a wide range of albums, here is a sample album from my premium album collection.

What I love about these albums are that they are completely customizable to suit each and every one of my clients.  It’s hard not to show off your wedding pictures when they are displayed like this!

Have a great week! – J

Last weekend I was busy with my Boudoir Marathon, but I had time to squeeze in the Burlington/Oakville Wedding Show at the Burlington Convention Center.

My friend Wayne, a fabulous wedding planner, was showcasing his candy buffets (I’m seeing green).  These delicious candy buffets can be tailored to the theme of your wedding! What an excellent idea for any bride and groom.  Who wouldn’t want a candy buffet at their wedding? Actually, can I have one in my house?

Of course, I brought my camera and shot a few pictures of his ‘sweet’ booth!

I’m so behind on blogging!  I will try to blog more than once this month – LOL.  Have a happy week everyone – J

I am really excited to share my photos from Christine and Andrew’s engagement session from last weekend.  Originally, when we scheduled their session I was nervous the weather would play a major factor – but we certainly lucked out with one of the nicest (and mildest) days in January!

Shooting on the beautiful shores of Lake Ontario in the Bronte Outer Harbour Marina, in Oakville, was the perfect setting for this couple.  Not only was this location only a 5 minute walk from their house, it was the perfect backdrop for this super cute couple!  Big thanks to Christine and Andrew for a wonderful day! Next up, their wedding day (I can’t wait!!!).

Hope everyone had a wonderful week! – J

I don’t love the terminology ‘trash the dress’.  I prefer ‘rock the dress’, simply because that’s what Laura did!  She rocked her dress…right into the ocean.  Laura, Sal and I only had about 30 minutes of sunlight left when we started our session but that didn’t stop us (I couldn’t even imagine what we would have captured if we had more time).  It went by so fast but we had such an amazing time.  These two were up for anything and everything!!

I would recommend to all my brides to do a trash the dress session after your big day.  You spend so much money on your dress only to wear it for one day.  Why not wear it for two before dry cleaning it and throwing it in a box for the rest of eternity? (I’m so logical, right?) Well, if I haven’t convinced you yet, maybe the photos from Laura and Sal’s trash the dress session will.

Huge THANK YOU and big hugs to Laura and Sal for everything! Congrats to you both and I wish you nothing but a life full of happiness!

I don’t have anything planned until January (photography sessions I mean)…  I’m not sure when I’ll be blogging next.  Maybe something over the holidays?…til then.

Have a wonderful week everyone!! – J

I was ecstatic to be apart of Laura and Sal’s wedding day at the Dreams Palm Beach resort in Punta Cana, December 7th, 2011.  The day was beautiful, the weather was gorgeous and the bride and groom were absolutely stunning.  All of Laura and Sal’s hard work planning their wedding paid off and everything was perfect! Thank you both for including me in your special day!

I can’t wait to share my pictures from our trash the dress session we did the next day… stay tuned!

Happy happy joy joy! – J

It’s always a pleasure shooting the Pickards (and super busy with little Jayden!) The girls look so adorable in their red holiday outfits, all dressed up and ready for Santa Clause!

Off to the Dominican on Friday to shoot Laura and Sal’s wedding… it’s going to be an awesome time! Plus, we could really use some rest and relaxation! Have a wonderful week. – J

It’s really fun watching Ella grow and turn into an adorable little lady.  Shooting her around this time of year is becoming sort of a tradition.  She was such a ham during our entire session and we had so much fun playing hide ‘n seek with elmo.  Love, love, love her!

I can’t believe tomorrow is hump day already!!! AHHHHH… where does the time go?? Have an excellent week everyone – J

This is somewhat embarrassing!! My poor little China was in desperate need of a bath and haircut. I like to grow her hair a bit longer and put ponytails in her hair but when she yanks them out and runs around she looks like this… (wonder how she sees??)

Oh the torture of a bath and hair cut.  I think she pretty much hates my guts here ha ha! How cute, she’s checking herself out in the mirror… not sure she likes what she sees “MOMMY, WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME?!?”Finally, the reward… the baby kong filled with treats! She’s happy again! It’s funny, she still looks dirty! My little rat! Soooo cute – love love love!

I have a super busy weekend ahead filled with lots of shooting! Hope to blog again before the weekend is done! Have an awesome weekend everyone!- J

Today, I had a photo session at Crystal’s fabulous new studio, Exhale Pilates, located in downtown Burlington.  I had a great time shooting here today, the space was so light and airy it really made my job easy!  It definitely helped that everyone (the instructors and clients) were all very charismatic and positive (and flexible!).

Here are 3 of the 5 instructors, Crystal (owner & instructor), Rachel and Doug (and they are all in the most AMAZING SHAPE!! – kinda makes you want to work out doesn’t it?).

Exhale Pilates new space is gorgeous, spacious and very zen.

Ummm… now that I’m completely pooped (by watching the instructors at work) time to rest!  Enjoy the rest of your weekend everyone! – J
