I am really excited to share my photos from Christine and Andrew’s engagement session from last weekend. Originally, when we scheduled their session I was nervous the weather would play a major factor – but we certainly lucked out with one of the nicest (and mildest) days in January!
Shooting on the beautiful shores of Lake Ontario in the Bronte Outer Harbour Marina, in Oakville, was the perfect setting for this couple. Not only was this location only a 5 minute walk from their house, it was the perfect backdrop for this super cute couple! Big thanks to Christine and Andrew for a wonderful day! Next up, their wedding day (I can’t wait!!!).

I think that engagement photography is now my favourite! I had a blast shooting Nav and Matt’s engagement photos yesterday at my friend Adam’s studio in Bowmanville (thanks Adam… you rock!). Before our session, Nav and I had so many conversations on what we wanted to do for our shoot and it really paid off! This was, by far, the fun-ist (argh, so not a word I KNOW!) shoot I have had in a long time. Props to the gorgeous couple for being super amazing and such great sports! Thanks again guys!

Wayne, a friend of mine and a very talented wedding planner (Marble Weddings), called me on a whim asking if I can do an impromptu engagement session for one of his clients Katharine and Ryan. They originally had an engagement session booked for the previous weekend but they got rained out and their special day is fastly approaching. I never turn down a friend so 3 days later we met at the beautiful Sam Lawrence Park just on top of the “Mountain” in Hamilton, Ontario. It was a perfect setting for this couple, since this was the exact spot Ryan asked Katharine to marry him! I love the romance (maybe I am hopeless after all!)
I was really lucky to meet and shoot a super nice, fun and really down to earth couple. We had fun spending the afternoon ‘jumping’ through the park, having our coffee and just enjoying the beautiful fall weather. I wish Katharine and Ryan all the best on their wedding day!
Thank you to Wayne for the coffee and EXCELLENT reflector holding skills! (P.S. I can’t get over how tall you are and HOW DID I NOT NOTICE THIS BEFORE!:?!)

I met up with Miranda and Peter in Edwards Garden (Toronto) for their engagement session. It turned out to be a gorgeous fall day (when I first pulled into the park, there was this really sad dark gloomy cloud lingering overhead… but as soon as Miranda and Peter got there it just disappeared – magical touch? maybe!). I had an awesome afternoon hanging out with you guys in this beautiful botanical garden. I can’t wait until your wedding next year!

How did I get so lucky?? I love my job and have the best clients! I had such an awesome time shooting Julie and Anthony’s engagement session (along with their adorable friends Eddie and Mel). We went to this BEAUTIFUL park in Old Oakville for our session and nothing could have been more perfect. I can’t wait for their wedding… September 10th can’t come fast enough!

Yay! Fun fun fun couple! Laura and Sal picked a beautiful location just by their home in Richmond Hill for their engagement session, Mill Pond. They are getting married next year and I cannot wait to be apart of it.
Laura and Sal were game for anything and we just had such a blast shooting. The fall colours and the location really brings to life the passion and love this couple has for one another.

Rain Rain Rain!!! GO AWAY! Not exactly what you want to see in the morning when you have an outdoor engagement photo session booked. Karen and Sean were getting married in Las Vegas in September. I enjoy shooting engagement sessions because it gives everyone an opportunity to get comfortable infront of my lens before their big day!
We got rained out of most of our pre-planned locations, so we ended up at a beautiful spot on the outskirts of Guelph, Ontario. We were lucky enough to have found this location (thanks Sean!) with some covering for the couple. Despite the rain, we had an amazing time and captured some beautiful shots for the couple.
